A sci-fi journey to recover lost memories and selfhood in the labyrinth of futuristic Shubble.

Set in the futuristic city of Shubble in the year 2030, the story follows the main character, Hyunsoo, whose life takes an unexpected turn after he loses everything and encounters a mysterious woman. The narrative is thematically inspired by the "Ten Bulls" of Buddhism, using the journey of finding a wild bull as a metaphor for searching for one's true self within. With its unique cover design inspired by vintage pulp magazines, the book aims to deliver an engaging, fast-paced science fiction entertainment experience.

She has worked as a webtoon story writer and has written across a range of media, including introducing Anglophone graphic novels to Korean magazines. Rodeo is her debut novel, set in the future city of "Shubble" in 2030, reimagining the Buddhist Ten Ox-Herding Pictures (Sipwoodo) for the modern era to portray one man's journey to recover his lost memory and sense of self.
